Transformers is 3rd In 2007 Domestic Box Office Gross
"Transformers" became the third-highest grossing movie for the 2007 year. According to studio estimates, "Transformers" pulled in $1.18 Million for the weekend to top out at $308.6 Million in domestic box office receipts. That was just enough to climb over the $307.8 Million for "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End." The second-highest grossing movie for the year is "Shrek the Third" at $321 Million.
